Established in the response to the challenges faced by dairy farmers after the dairy industry deregulation in 1998. The seed of Underberg Dairy was sown during the challenging years between 2007 and 2013 when many South African farms faced closure. In the face of adversity, a visionary collective of farmers in Underberg united to establish Berg Dairies, which later joined forces with Roman's Pizza to form Underberg Dairy. The fruition of their collaborative efforts materialised in 2016 with the formal founding of Underberg Dairy a testament to innovation and resilience, shaping our commitment to providing superior quality dairy products.
